Validated hour
An hour of footage that has passed QA against the spec — not an hour of raw recording.
Definition
A validated hour is 60 minutes of footage that has passed QA against your spec — sync within the ceiling, calibration solved and within drift tolerance, coverage cells filled, and consent documented — rather than 60 minutes of raw recording. You are billed on validated hours only.

Why it matters
Raw-hour billing pays for footage you cannot use; teams routinely discard most bulk egocentric footage as unfit for manipulation. Validated hours align the price you pay with the data that actually trains.
