Off-the-Shelf Stereo and Hand-Tracking Egocentric Video
Last reviewed:
Short answer
Off-the-shelf stereo egocentric video is first-person footage from two-camera rigs, which lets you recover depth and 3D hand geometry. The library holds four stereo datasets with 50,252+ listed hours, plus more on request, including a calibrated head rig with hand tracking and 9-axis IMU delivered as MCAP. Pricing is a custom quote.

What is in stock.
Stereo is the step up from single-camera video: two views of every frame, so depth and hand position can be estimated in 3D rather than guessed from one image.

Datasets in stock
Which datasets are available?
Each dataset has a sample folder and a full metadata sheet you can review before ordering.
Pricing is a custom quote from a rep, based on hours ordered, dataset mix and licence terms.
Why use stereo egocentric video instead of single-camera video?
A single camera sees the world flat. Two calibrated cameras a known distance apart see each point from slightly different angles, and that difference is what lets you estimate depth. For manipulation, that matters most at the hands: how far the fingers are from an object, and where they are in 3D when they grasp it.
Which stereo dataset should I choose?
For volume, dataset 07a is the largest single pool in the library: 50,000 hours of annotated stereo from Asia.
For depth plus 3D hand geometry, dataset 06 is a calibrated stereo head rig with hand-tracking output and 9-axis IMU, shipped as MCAP. The rig uses dual fisheye cameras at 1080p per eye with a 62 mm baseline and per-unit calibration, and its sample shows the rig, the MCAP format and the hand-tracking output. USA inventory ships on the same spec.
Dataset 01 offers 252 hours of calibrated stereo with dense action labels and IMU from India. Dataset 07b is stereo from Poland, Moldova and Latvia, with volume on request.
Why does per-unit calibration matter?
Depth and 3D hand positions are only as good as the calibration behind them. Calibrating each unit, rather than assuming one shared spec, means the geometry you compute matches the camera that actually recorded the footage.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask.
01How much stereo egocentric video is available?
50,252+ listed hours across datasets 07a (50,000) and 01 (252), with datasets 06 and 07b available on request.
02Which dataset includes hand tracking?
Dataset 06, the stereo head rig, includes hand-tracking output along with 9-axis IMU, delivered as MCAP.
03What is the stereo baseline of the hand-tracking rig?
Dataset 06 uses dual fisheye cameras at 1080p per eye with a 62 mm baseline and per-unit calibration.
04Is the stereo data labeled?
Dataset 01 has dense action labels and dataset 07a is annotated. Label details for each dataset are in its metadata sheet.
05What licence comes with the stereo datasets?
Dataset 01 is non-exclusive with resale rights. Terms for 06, 07a and 07b are confirmed per order.
06Can I get stereo data from a region not listed?
Custom collection runs across LATAM, Africa, Asia, the USA and Europe on the same rigs, so any gap in the library can be filled to your spec.
