Off-the-Shelf Virtual Tour and 360° Image Data

Last reviewed:

Short answer

Off-the-shelf virtual tour data is a licensed library of more than 10 million real-world 360° images, organized into over 400,000 walkable virtual tours of homes, businesses and venues across many industries. It is used for robot navigation, 3D reconstruction, scene understanding and simulation. Every order is scoped and quoted individually.

A walkable tour from the library: linked 360° panoramas you can move between, the structure every tour shares.

What is in stock.

The library holds real interiors captured as full-surround panoramas and linked into tours, so each property arrives as a connected, walkable set of scenes rather than loose photos.

Live examples of the tours in the library. Each one is a connected set of 360° scenes you can walk through.

Each scene is a full spherical capture. Every direction from the capture point is recorded, not only a forward view.

What is a virtual tour?

A virtual tour is a set of 360° photos of a real place, linked so you can move through it. Each photo, or scene, is taken from a single point and records every direction at once: floor, ceiling and all four walls. Hotspots join each scene to the next, so the tour works like a walkable map of the building.

For a person, that is a way to visit a property remotely. For a model, it is dense, overlapping, full-surround views of a real interior, already organized by how the space connects.

Why is virtual tour data useful for robotics and 3D reconstruction?

Robots and spatial models have to work in real buildings. Tours provide real buildings at scale, captured from every direction and connected by how people move through them.

A tour is a graph of places joined by walkable links, which gives navigation and embodied agents real rooms, doorways, corridors and transitions to learn layout and route-following from. Overlapping spherical captures of the same space are useful input for multi-view reconstruction, depth estimation and view synthesis research, because every scene sees the whole room at once.

Real interiors with furniture, fixtures and clutter also support room-type classification, object detection, layout estimation and floor-plan research, and can seed or validate simulated environments and digital twins.

Which industries are covered?

Virtual tours are used wherever a business wants to show a physical space, so the library spans far more than residential real estate: commercial real estate, hotels, event venues, restaurants, retail stores, campuses, construction sites, dealerships, healthcare facilities, self-storage, and campgrounds and RV parks, among others. Ask a rep for available volume in a specific industry or region.

Can tours be used as evaluation or held-out data?

Yes. Spaces your team has never captured make honest held-out sets for checking how a model trained elsewhere generalizes to new buildings. Ten million-plus wide-field images also add scene diversity to vision and vision-language pretraining beyond forward-facing photo collections.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

01

How much virtual tour data is available off the shelf?

More than 10 million 360° images organized into over 400,000 virtual tours of real places.

02

How is virtual tour data priced?

Every order is quoted individually, based on the number of tours or images, the industries and regions you need, and the delivery scope. A rep sends the quote.

03

What does a delivery contain?

Images, tour structure and available metadata. The exact contents are scoped and confirmed with your rep for each order.

04

Can I see examples first?

Yes. The tours on this page are live examples of the data, and a rep can share more from the industries you care about.

05

Is this the same as egocentric video?

No. Tours are static 360° captures of spaces. Egocentric video is first-person footage of people doing tasks. Many teams pair the two: tours for the environment, egocentric video for the manipulation.
